10 Children’s Books with a Special Growth Message

Have you’ve spent the last 45 – 60 days pouring over end of year budgeting, annual reviews and strategy work for 2015?  If so, my guess is that you’re ready for a break?
The Holidays are a terrific time to pour into something else – children!  And there is no better way to spend time with the kids in your life than a book with a special growth message.Recently, my 9 year old daughter and I combed through stacks of children’s books that we’ve accumulated over the years to find the 10 that deliver a growth message for kids.  From lessons on how to relate to others to discovering their uniqueness, the messages are fun, sticky and memorable!

If you’re after new gift ideas for the children in your life, this is your shopping list; in fact, each book links right up to Amazon for easy purchase.

Here’s the list – in no specific order (with a bonus book for fun):

In particular, the book that has been a hit with my two boys (ages 5 and 7) most recently is How Full is Your Bucket, by Tom Rath – outstanding message and visuals!  Both boys now have contests with each other to see who can fill someone else’s bucket!

So, who will you pour into this Holiday Season?

And, which of the 10 books will you choose for that special child (ren) in your life?
